Russia-China gas deal a train wreck for BC

Andrew Nikiforuk

Last week's China-Russia gas deal deflated British Columbia's much over-hyped LNG dreams and delivered a political earthquake for Premier Christy Clark. Even the timing was awkward. She even declared that her fantastic export dream was "all about building a nation, creating jobs, [and] rolling up our sleeves to take advantage of this generational opportunity to build a prosperous future for every Canadian."
